Explosion hits hotel in downtown Havana

HAVANA (Reuters] -On Friday, a strong explosion erupted in a downtown Havana hotel. A witness at Reuters also saw smoke rising from the building.
Granma photos, Cuba’s communist party official daily showed photographs of Hotel Saratoga, whose multistory walls seemed to have been destroyed by the explosion up several floors.
Rescue workers and police rushed to the rescue, securing key locations and buildings near the Capitolio Building.
