The (DOTThe ) ecosystem is slowly developing over the last year and half. Developers are finally seeing the fruits of their labor as the parachain auctions close and the first chain launches on the mainnet.

With cross-chain functionality about to become live, interoperability within this ecosystem’s next phase is expected to begin. The parachains based on Polkadot will be able to connect with each other, and also transfer assets across chains.
