U.S. judge dismisses Trump’s lawsuit challenging his Twitter ban -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – A U.S. Judge dismissed the lawsuit filed by former President Donald Trump against Twitter Inc (NYSE:) He challenged the suspension.

U.S. district judge James Donato, San Francisco, rejected Trump’s assertion that Twitter infringed on his First Amendment right to free speech.

Twitter and the other social media platforms have banned Trump’s services following a mob attack on the U.S. Capitol by his supporters. It was a bloody riot which ended in death Jan. 6, 2021.

Trump had just given a speech where he claimed that Trump lost November elections because of fraud. This assertion was rejected by numerous courts as well as state election officials.
