Sri Lanka in talks for $100 million emergency funding from AIIB

COLOMBO, (Reuters) – The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank may grant $100 million to Sri Lanka as an emergency aid package, according to the finance ministry of Sri Lanka.

According to the statement, Sri Lanka also requested support in forex liquidity for its state banks from the multilateral lender.
