Within the framework of (DOTThe ) ecosystem is slowly developing over the last year and half. Developers are finally seeing the fruits of their labor as the parachain auctions close and the first chain launches on the mainnet.

Now that cross-chain functionality has been launched, the next stage of interoperability in the ecosystem will be underway. This will make it possible for Polkadot parachains to connect with one another, and allow them to exchange assets between each other.
