Energizer Shares Surge After Earnings, Analyst Says Beat Driven by ‘Robust’ Sales -Breaking

© Reuters. Shares in Energizer (ENR). Analyst: Earnings Driven by ‘Robust’ SalesShares of Energizer Holdings (NYSE:) are up over 5% in today’s trading session after the company reported results.
ENR an EEPS 47c to beat easily the estimate of 38c Again, revenue was $685.4million higher than consensus of $655.6million.
The battery manufacturer raised its net sales outlook to “low single-digit growth” and reaffirmed its fiscal-year outlook for EPS and EBITDA.
An adjusted EPS can be seen at between $3.00-$3.30 for a full year, with $3.17 being the median of the guidance. The adjusted EBITDA can still be seen at $560 to $590 millions.
Goldman Sachs analyst Jason English said ENR delivered “robust” sales.
“We expect the stock to trade higher on the back of the beat and maintained profitability outlook,” English wrote briefly in a memo to clients and before the earnings call.
