BEIJING, (Reuters) – China’s State Planner solicited public opinions Tuesday on the draft 2022 list of sectors that are open for foreign investment. The expanded list was created to promote foreign capital flow to sectors like electronic components.

According to the National Development and Reform Commission, the 2022 industry list, which was expanded from its 2020 counterpart, encouraged foreign investors also to consider China’s central, northeastern and western regions.
