FRANKFURT (Reuters), a German flag carrier Lufthansa announced Tuesday that there are no additional restructuring costs in 2019. This is a relief following reorganisation efforts during COVID-19, which weighed down its results for late 2020 and all of 2021.

Lufthansa had completed all of its restructuring plans in 2021. The group also recorded the costs related to that year in its statement, it said.

It stated that it plans to sell its remaining LSG catering unit, which was part of the European business. The offer would be contingent on the sector’s recovery.

Lufthansa said that it is ready to execute the transaction at any time, even if the request comes in a hurry.
