AMSTERDAM (Reuters – Philips shareholder voted against company’s executive pay plan at Tuesday’s annual shareholders meeting. ANP reported that this was due to the protests over recent product recalls and poor performance.

The agency reported that Chairman Feike Sijbesma, despite the fact the vote wasn’t binding, said he would consider the results seriously.
