(Reuters] – Tesla (NASDAQ) – Tesla’s chief executive Elon Musk stated on Tuesday that he plans to stay with the company for as long as he can be useful, amid fears that his proposed purchase of Twitter (NYSE) might distract from his duties at Tesla.

He answered a question about his future plans at Tesla by saying, “As long I can still be helpful.”

He spoke at the FT Future of the Car 2022 conference.
