Coinbase reported first-quarter earningsAnalyst estimates for Tuesday’s bell missed the mark. Shares plunged as high as 19% during extended trading before rebounding. Stock is currently down around 12% following hours.

- Loss per Share (EPS). $1.98
- Revenue: 1.17 billion versus the $1.48 billion anticipated, Refinitiv reported
The stock lost over 60% since March and Coinbase was particularly hit by a wider slide in tech stocks. BitcoinDropped below the symbolic price threshold of $30,000Tomorrow is Monday.
Retail monthly transactions users (MTUs), down from 11.4M in the fourth-quarter, fell to 9.2 Million, while total trading volume decreased from $547B to $309B in Q4.
Revenue fell 27% compared to a year ago and the company also posted a loss of $430million in its first quarter.
