© Reuters. Electronic Arts Misses Q4 Revenue EarningsElectronic Arts (NASDAQ) – Investing.com reported Tuesday that the fourth quarter was below analysts’ expectations and that revenue fell short of expectation.
Electronic Arts reported earnings per share at $0.8 on $1.75B in revenue. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at $1.43 for revenue $1.77B.
Electronic Arts shares fell 27% over the first week of 2019, but are still below 25.07% of its 52 week peak of $148.93, which was set on June 15, 20,21. They have been outperforming Nasdaq by 24.97%, since its inception.
Electronic Arts shares fell 0.89% after hours trades following the release.
Electronic Arts and Communication Services are the top two sectors that have reported this month’s earnings.
Electronic Arts’s earnings report comes after Alphabet C reported an earnings miss of April 26th. They reported EPS $24.62 on $68.01B revenue, while forecasts were for EPS $25.59 on $68.06B revenue.
Meta Platforms exceeded expectations in April 27, posting EPS for the first quarter of $2.72 on revenues of $27.91B. This compares to estimates of EPS of 2.56 on revenue $28.28B.
