Siemens Energy not pursuing divestment of Siemens Gamesa for now -Breaking

FRANKFURT, (Reuters) – Siemens Energy has not yet decided to divest its Siemens Gamesa wind turbine division. This was stated by its Chief Executive Christian Bruch on Wednesday.

“This isn’t an option I am actively considering at the moment,” said he.

Siemens Gamesa’s 67% stake is owned by Siemens Energy. Sources tell Reuters that Siemens Energy was looking for ways to purchase the rest, as Reuters reported in January.
