Emirates says its Boeing 787 deliveries delayed by at least a year -Breaking

DUBAI (Reuters) – Emirates Chief Working Officer Adel Al Redha stated on Wednesday the airline wouldn’t obtain its Boeing (NYSE:) 787 Dreamliners in 2023 and should not even obtain its first till 2025 as a consequence of manufacturing points on the U.S. aircraft maker.

“The 787 was purported to be delivered in 2023. Now we all know for positive that is not going to occur in 2023. It might not occur even in 2024 as a result of Boeing nonetheless have not recommenced that manufacturing,” he instructed reporters on the Arabian Journey Market commerce honest in Dubai.

Boeing suspended deliveries almost a yr in the past over structural flaws. Sources instructed Reuters in April that deliveries would resume within the second half of 2022.
