Brazil’s Gol and Colombia’s Avianca to create holding company Abra Group -Breaking

SAO PAULO (Reuters – Brazilian airline Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA & Colombian’s Avianca stated on Wednesday that they agreed to set up a holding firm called Abra Group. It will take control of both businesses and bring their brands together under one umbrella.

Abra Group, which will be owned by Avianca principal shareholders, and Gol majority shareholder, will co-control it, according to them in a press statement. They also stated that the airlines would continue to operate their own brands.
