SEATTLE (Reuters) – Boeing (NYSE:) Co stated Wednesday that supply chain disruptions slowed production of the 737 MAX cash cow, and delayed deliveries. However, it does not believe its entire year will be disrupted.

According to the U.S. planemaker, China is close to allowing the 737 MAX return to service. However, progress was slowed by strict COVID protocols and not wider trade tensions between Washington, Beijing.
