Abbott could restart infant formula production at Michigan plant -Breaking

REUTERS/Brendan McDermid(Reuters) – Abbott Laboratories (NYSE) announced Wednesday that they could resume infant formula production in the Michigan facility, which was shut down by bankruptcy on Wednesday.
Following complaints of bacterial infections among infants exposed to the formulas in Sturgis, the company recalled several baby formulas including Similac.
According to the FDA, the FDA must approve the resumption.
