Great news for Android gamers – : Origin went live on mobile today. Axie Infinity Origin is the latest addition to the Axie Universe. The PC version was released on 7th April and starting today the new addition to Axie’s ecosystem is available on Android.

Pre-launch Access

The app is not yet available on Google (NASDAQ:) Play, but can be downloaded from Axie Infinity’s official site. Developers of Axie Infinity’s new edition warned that this release is still in Early Access phase. Developers have already generated some excitement about the launch of Axie Infinity’s new edition and hint at a few upcoming features.

• NFT runes, NFT charms are made
• Origin Leaderbord, first season with AXS Prizes
• Token rewards

It is unknown when the final version will be released. Axie’s developers explain that it depends on the feedback given by the community. Axie.Tech produced a guide called Axie Technology Origin in addition to the mobile version.

7/Please note that Origin is still in the Early Access phase of testing. Token rewards, crafting NFT/charms and an AXS leaderboard will be part of the future global launch. We will be evaluating the responses we get over the next months to determine the timing for this global launch.

There are gameplay enhancements and some bugs that were fixed in the update. Scry cancelling is no longer possible because the players could see the cards being drawn and not spend any energy. The Settings upgrade includes Full HD graphic capabilities and simultaneous run status, run effect and Run Status. These upgrades will improve the speed of gameplay.

AXS, Axie Infinity’s native token, has seen a 5.5% increase in the last 24 hours, which adds more reason for celebration. According to CoinGecko, AXS trades at $21.64 and has a huge trading volume of $960.867.747.
