France stocks lower at close of trade; CAC 40 down 1.01% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

Paris closed with the index falling 1.01% and the declining 1.01%.

They were the top performers at the session Alstom SA (EPA) rose 4.85%, or 1.06 points, to close at 22.91. STMicroelectronics N (EPA:), which gained 3.97%, or 1.37 points, to close at 35.74 Societe Generale Late trade saw an increase of 1.46% in SA (EPA,) or 0.33 point to 22,95

Veolia Environnement VE SA, (EPA:) fell 6.04% to close at 25.04. ArcelorMittal SA, (AS:), declined by 3.14% (0.85 points) to close at 26.05 Euroapi SAS (EPA) dropped 3.14%, or 0.43 points, to 13.28.

Alstom SA, which rose 4.85% at 22.91, STMicroelectronics NV at (EPA) was up 3.97% at 35.74, and ALD SA at (EPA) were the top performers at 13.44.

Veolia Environnement VE SA, which fell 6.04% to 25,04.4 in late-trade was the worst performer. Neoen SA (EPA) lost 6.04% and settled at 35.33 Biomerieux SA (EPA) was at 84.00, down 5.21% from the previous close.

The Paris Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 369 to 175, while 85 ended the same.

Euroapi SAS Shares (EPA) dropped to an all-time low, losing 3.14% (0.43 to 13.28).

The implied volatility index of CAC 40 options was at a 52-week low of 0.00%, or 18.96.

The June delivery of Gold Futures was lower by 1.56%, or 28.96, to $1.824.74 per troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which rose 0.39 to reach $106.12/barrel, and the July Brent Oil contract, unchanged at 0.00 to trade for $107.51/barrel.

EUR/USD fell by 1.44%, to 1.04; EUR/GBP dropped by 0.96% at 0.85

At 104.92, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 1.01%.
