This comes after Adani Group, a $10.5 million deal, bought the Indian cementmaker’s operations from the Swiss cementmaker.
Jenisch said that “we are growing at a very fast pace” and stated to reporters, “The proceeds from the divestment will allow us to continue to accelerate strategy 2025 and purchase new companies.”
We currently have about 10 transactions that we are checking and negotiating. He said that although they were small transactions, the larger transactions are more complex. He said that Holcim’s $3.4 billion acquisition of Firestone was ready to go.
