© Reuters. 44 Countries To Meet In El Salvador To Talk About Bitcoin- On Monday, May 16, El Salvador will host 32 central banks as well 12 financial officials from over 44 countries.

Nayib Bukele, president of El Salvador, tweeted late Sunday night, announcing that 12 central banks from 42 countries and 32 financial officials will be meeting in El Salvador on Monday, May 16.
The group plans to discuss financial inclusion, digital economy, banking the unbanked, El Salavor’s Bitcoin rollout and its benefits in the country.
In a series of Tweets after the announcement, the president announced that the Central Bank of São Tomé and Príncipe, Central Bank of Paraguay, National Bank of Angola, Bank of Ghana, Bank of Namibia, Bank of Uganda, Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea, Central Bank of Madagascar and the Bank of the Republic of Haitiwill be there.
The Bank of the Republic of Burundi and the Central Bank of Eswatini and the Ministry of Finance, Central Bank of Jordan and Central Bank of The Gambia are among the others that will attend.
Bukele tweeted another statement, stating that the National Bank of Rwanda and Nepal Rastra Bank and the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority, (SASRA), Kenya and Kenya would also be there.
The Bitcoin community is excited about this move. It took 12 years to get the first country in the world to accept Bitcoin. If Panama’s president signs their recent Bitcoin bill into law, they will only be the third country to do this.
We are now at the stage where financial inclusion will be discussed by people from around the globe.
