Flight data from China Eastern jet points to intentional nosedive

(Reuters). Flight data from a Black Box recovered from a China Eastern aircraft that crashed in January suggests an intentional crash, Wall Street Journal reports Tuesday. This was based on information from people who are familiar with U.S. authorities’ initial assessment.

Both the company and National Transportation Safety Board didn’t immediately reply to our requests for comment.

The March crash of a Boeing (NYSE 🙂 737-880 en route from Kunming, China to Guangzhou killed 123 passengers, nine crewmembers, and caused the worst aviation tragedy in China for 28 years.
