Citi promotes Asia-based banker Valderrabano as global wealth COO -Breaking

HONG KONG, (Reuters) – Citi appointed Valentin Valderrabano its chief operating officer (COO), for Citi Global Wealth. This appointment was effective July 1, according to an internal memo that was reviewed by Reuters.

Valderrabano is the global wealth director at Citibank Korea. He has almost 20 years’ experience as a consumer manager.

Eduardo Martinez Campos will become Citi’s COO.

Globally, U.S. banks’ wealth business generated $7.5 Billion revenue in 2021. The bank has more than $800B in client assets and employs over 3,000 advisors.
