Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The Saudi Arabian close saw the currency drop by 2.25%, bringing it to a 1-month high.

Saudi Industrial Export Co., which rose 9.94% (or 8.80 points) to trade at 95.30 at close, were the top performers. Meanwhile, Anaam International Holding Group (TADAWUL:) added 9.90% or 3.55 points to end at 39.40 and National Gas & Industrialization Co (TADAWUL:) was up 6.09% or 2.70 points to 47.05 in late trade.

Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co. TADAWUL: fell 10.0% or 2.85 points, to trade at 25.65 after the closing. Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (TADAWUL:) declined 9.98% or 2.65 points to end at 23.90 and Saudi Real Estate Co. (TADAWUL:) was down 8.80% or 1.64 points to 17.00.

The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 199 to 31, while 4 ended unaffected.

Saudi Industrial Export Co. (TADAWUL:), shares rose to new 5-year highs. The gain was 9.94% (8.80 to 97.30). The shares of Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co. (TADAWUL) dropped to their 52-week lowest point, losing 10.00% (2.85 to 25.65). Stocks of Saudi Real Estate Co. fell by 8.80%, or 1.64 to 17.00.

The July delivery of crude oil fell 0.77%, or 0.82, to $106.22 per barrel. Brent oil, which was due for delivery on July 9, fell 0.52 or 0.48% to reach $108.59/barrel, while June Gold Futures rose 1.50%, or 27.25, to trade at $1.843.15/troy ounce.

EUR/SAR rose 0.93% from 3.96 to 3.96. USD/SAR was unchanged at 0.02 to 3.75.

At 102.93, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.90%.
