REUTERS/Yuri Gripas//File Photo(Reuters) – The International Monetary Fund stated that the objectives agreed upon in the program approved for Argentina are still valid as the program review nears.
Gerry Rice (a Fund spokesperson) said that “I would describe the status of discussions on the initial review as good progress being achieved.”
An original June date for the review of the $44 Billion program was changed to Mid-May.
Rice spoke out, saying Rice did not give a precise date but that she hoped to be able to share information about the completion of the mission.
