FRANKFURT, (Reuters) – Martina Merz (ETR) has been the chief executive at Thyssenkrupp in Germany since 2019. The company announced on Thursday that she has been granted a 5-year extension to her contract until March 2028.

Siegfried Russwurm, Chairman of Supervisory Board Siegfried Russwurm stated in a statement that Martina Merz was a great example of the “resolute approach” to Thyssenkrupp’s transformation.
