Lufthansa backs Boeing, says manufacturer ‘will get back to its feet’ -Breaking

REUTERS/Kai PfaffenbachWASHINGTON (Reuters) – Lufthansa Chief Executive Carsten Spohr announced on Thursday that Lufthansa strongly supports U.S. plane manufacturer Boeing (NYSE ) Co., which has come under fire for delays in program implementation.
Lufthansa had earlier announced that it was going to buy 10 cargo planes. This included seven of the 777X variant, which is also called 777-8F. It has increased its order for Boeing 787s.
Spohr declared that Boeing as America’s symbol will soon be back on its feet. Spohr told airline executives in attendance that “it is a good moment to negotiate prices for Boeing right now.”
