These were the worst performers of the session. Tosoh Corp. (TYO): The close fell by 4.48%, or 88.00 point to trade at 1,876.00 Chiyoda Corp. (TYO): The decline of 3.99%, or 18.00 points, to 433.00 was the final result JGC Corp. (TYO:), was at 1,693.00, down 3.53%.
The Tokyo Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 2699, 865 and 215 respectively.
The implied volatility index of Nikkei’s 225 options was lower by 5.66%, to 23.68.
Oil for July delivery rose 0.86%, or 0.95 to $111.23/barrel. Brent oil, which is available for August delivery, rose by 0.98%, or 1.08, to reach $111.07/barrel. Meanwhile, the June Gold Futures contract climbed 0.64%, or 11.72, and traded at $1853.82 per troy ounce.
USD/JPY fell 0.16% at 127.64 while EUR/JPY rose 0.2% to 135.39.
US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.544% to 102.62
