PARIS (Reuters – Police conducted a search at McKinsey Paris’ Paris office on Tuesday, Le Parisien newspaper reported and Agence France Presse.

McKinsey representatives could not be reached immediately for comment.

French President Emmanuel Macron has confirmed in April that a preliminary investigation related to tax fraud was opened by France’s PNF national finance prosecution office into McKinsey’s French division.

McKinsey said that at the time it would respond to French authorities’ questions and respect French social, fiscal and regulatory laws.
