In the middle-day shooting that occurred at Robb Elementary School, Uvalde Texas (about 80 miles (130km) west San Antonio), the suspect was shot and killed.
The latest incident in a series of mass shootings is this rampage. Last year saw 61 active shooter incidents in America. These were an increase in attack frequency, number of casualties, geographic distribution, and overall violence from 2021. It was also the highest total in more than 20 years.

BUFFALO, MAY 14, 2022: A gunman dressed in white killed 10 Blacks inside a supermarket as part of a racist attack. He was arrested and is currently in prison without bail.
23 were injured when a 62 year old man set off a smoke bomb in New York City’s subway and started shooting at people in it. The next day, he was arrested.
OXFORD, November 30, 2021: Fourteen-year-old opened fire on a Michigan high school, killing seven students and injuring another seven.
INDIANAPOLIS – April 16, 2021 – Eight people were killed and several more injured at a FedEx facility in Indiana. The former FedEx employee, NYSE: (NYSE) was taken to psychiatric treatment before he took his own life.
LOS ANGELES, 31 March 2021 – A shooting at a suburban Los Angeles office building resulted in four deaths, with one child among them. Before the suspect was arrested, however, the suspect had been taken into custody.
BOULDER 22 March 2021: A massacre at Boulder’s supermarket left 10 dead including a cop.
ATLANTA, February 16, 2021 — Eight people were gunned down, including six Asian-American women, in a series of shootings at Atlanta day spas. An unidentified male suspect was taken into custody.
MILWAUKEE. February 26, 2020. A gunman shot at the scene. Molson Coors (NYSE: ) The Beverage Co brewery complex in Milwaukee was the victim of a suicide attempt by five colleagues.
DAYTON, 4 Aug 2019 – Nine people were killed by a gunman in body armour in Dayton, Ohio. Officers killed the gunman.
EL PASO (August 3, 2019) – 22 victims were killed in an attack at a Walmart store (NYSE:), El Paso Texas. According to a suspect’s statement, the attacker called the attack “a response against the Hispanic invasion of Texas.” Police arrested the suspect.
VIRGINIA Beach, May 31, 2019, 12 killed by a disgruntled employee of a public utility before being fatally shot and killed by officers.
AURORA – February 15, 2019, 5:00 p.m. – Five workers were killed when a man fired from an Illinois factory. Police then shot him dead.
THOUSAND OAKS (Nov. 7, 2018) – Twelve people were murdered by a former Marine combat veteran in Thousand Oaks California. This is a suburb near Los Angeles. Then he committed suicide.
PITTSBURGH (Oct. 27, 2018) – An attacker broke into Tree of Life near Pittsburgh and shot at congregants gathering for Sabbath worship.
SANTA FE. May 18, 2018. A high school student of 17 opened fire on his Houston High School, Texas campus, shooting 9 students and a teacher. The teenager then surrendered to police.
PARKLAND, 14 February 2018: A Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student killed 17 fellow students and teachers in Parkland.
SUTHERLANDSPRINGS, November 5, 2017 – 26 people were shot to death by a U.S. Air Force man for beating his child and wife. The incident occurred at a Texas church in rural Texas where the victim’s family worshipped.
LAS VEGAS, October 1, 2017, – An armed gunman set fire to a concert of country music from a 32nd floor hotel suite. He killed 58 people and then took his own life.
ORLANDO, 06/12/2016 – 49 victims were shot at Pulse gay nightclub before the gunman was killed by police.
SAN BERNARDINO – Dec. 2, 2015 – A husband-and-wife killed 14 people during a holiday party at their workplace in San Bernardino, California. They then died in a gun battle with police.
ROSEBURG, October 1, 2015: A gunman entered a college campus in Oregon and opened fire. Nine people were killed before the police arrived to arrest him.
CHARLESTON, South Carolina, June 17, 2015 – Nine Black churchgoers were killed by a white supremacist at a Charleston church. He was sentenced.
WASHINGTON, September 16, 2013, 12 were killed by a former Navy reservist who was working for the government as a contractor. The police shot him dead.
NEWTOWN, Dec. 14, 2012. 26 people were shot and killed, including 20 children between five and ten years of age, at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.
AURORA – 12 victims were killed by a masked gunman at a Aurora cinema, Colorado. His multiple life sentences included several.
– FORT Hood (NASDAQ) – Nov. 5, 2009: A Major in the Army and a psychiatrist opened fire on Fort Hood, an American Army base located in Texas. 13 were killed.
