Mireles was a bilingual and special education teacher who worked at Robb Elementary School where a teenage killed all of them in a hailof gunfire, before being shot by officers.

Mireles taught fourth-grade children generally between 9 and 10 years, Cristina Arizmendi Mireles stated on Facebook (NASDAQ):

My beautiful cousin!” This was such a horrible day for all of us! Arizmendi Mireles declared, “My heart has been broken into millions.”

Mireles posted a biography on the district website stating that her “supportive, fun, love family” consisted of her husband, college-educated daughter and three furry pals.

Ruben Ruiz is her husband and a member of the school’s district police force. This agency investigates the murder.

“I enjoy running and hiking. Now you may see me riding my bike!” Mireles shared her thoughts on the website.

Lydia Martinez Delgado her aunt grieved in a post on Facebook asking for prayers for her and her entire family. Nearly 80% of the population are Hispanics or Latinos. The community is located about 80 miles (130km) west San Antonio.

“These shootings go on. These innocent children are not to be blamed. All should be able to purchase rifles. It is my hometown. We are a tiny community with less than 20,000. Martinez Delgado stated in a statement that she never thought this would happen, especially to loved ones.

According to the statement, “All that we can do is pray very hard for our nation, state and schools, as well as the families of all,”

Two days remained in the school calendar when Tuesday’s attack occurred. The school district has established grief counseling services for those who survived the massacre and has cancelled all classes for the rest of the school year.
