South Korea, U.S. security advisers hold talks after N.Korea fires salvo of missiles -Breaking

REUTERS/Evelyn HocksteinWASHINGTON, (Reuters) – U.S. National security Adviser Jake Sullivan called South Korea’s National Security Adviser Kim Sunghan on Tuesday to talk about North Korea’s recent launch of three missiles.
They both strongly condemned DPRK’s ballistic missile test destabilizing the DPRK and pledged to maintain their coordination. “Mr. Sullivan reiterated the United States’ steadfast dedication to the defense and security of the ROK,” said the White House in a statement.
Following a U.S. president’s visit to Asia in which he committed to taking new deterrent measures against North Korea, three North Korean missiles were fired by the United States.
