WASHINGTON (Reuters – Friday’s U.S. Trade Representative office announced that the tariff exclusions of Chinese-made products for treating COVID-19 have been extended to Nov. 30, 2018.

In 2020, exclusions from tariffs up to 25% that were imposed by the former president Donald Trump’s government were granted. They were then extended but are due to expire May 31st according to USTR. Face masks, surgical gloves and hospital gowns are among the products that were affected by this extension.
