TOKYO, Reuters – Bank of Japan Governor Haruhikokuroda promised Monday that he would continue to support strong monetary easing in order to lift the economy from its COVID-19-induced depression.

Kuroda told Parliament that the yen is regaining stability after recent rapid weakness, which was not desirable.
