SpaceX Makes a Comeback with Dogecoin as it Prepares for DOGE Merch

Elon Musk is the wealthiest man on earth and an active member of DOGE Army. He announced that SpaceX, his aerospace firm, will soon start accepting the meme token as payment.

(DOGE) Tesla payments already implemented

It has already been some time since Tesla car owner’s gained the ability to supercharge their cars using Dogecoin. When Tesla Supercharger announced in February that Tesla car owners in Santa Monica could pay DOGE at charging stations, the opportunity was made real.

Elon Musk speculated at the time that Dogecoin may one day be available to buy subscriptions to Starlink’s satellite broadband internet system.

News: Crypto community shows excitement

Dogecoin (DOGE), has experienced a dramatic rise in value since the announcement. DOGE was trading at $0.078 five minutes before the tweet announcing the news. The price of the meme currency had increased to $0.084 just half an hour later. Despite this, the momentum didn’t last, and DOGE fell back down to $0.080 a few hours later, but this still represented an overall gain of 1% amid undeniably difficult circumstances of the crypto market – in fact, Dogecoin was the only top 10 crypto asset to be in the green over the 24 hour period.

What time will DOGE fly to the Moon

The new SpaceX integration saw Dogecoin’s price skyrocket for a couple of hours, but other recent tweets by Musk only had short-lived impacts on the asset’s price. CoinGecko reports that DOGE’s recent price rise is continuing. The dog-themed currency is currently trading at $0.086305 (at the time of writing). Although the iconic meme coin saw a 5.7% increase in price over the past 24 hours, the 7 price point still puts it in the exact same place it was week-to-date. Dogecoin, (DOGE), has a lot of work ahead to rebound from the recent cryptocurrency market crash that was caused by Terra’s and LUNA (UST) collapse. DOGE’s market price is 36% below it was a month earlier and 88% lower than its ATH on May 8, 2021 ($0.73).

Is Elon Musk able to create a steady increase in the price of cryptocurrency via his tweets and continue to do so?
