(Reuters). Andy Murray of Britain, a two-time Wimbledon Champion, said that the massacre at Uvalde Texas in which he was shot made him angry. He also stated that a witness’s story about the event reminded him of his experience with the Dunblane Massacre in 1996 in Scotland.

Last week, an 18-year old gunman with a semiautomatic firearm stormed a Texas elementary school killing 19 children as well as two teachers.

Ten days ago, a gunman shot and killed 10 in Buffalo. This latest attack has intensified national discussions about U.S. gun law.

“It is unbelievably disturbing and angering. Murray claimed that there were over 200 mass shootings this year in America and that nothing has changed. I don’t know how to understand this…

My feeling is that you will do something differently at one point. The solution to the problem cannot be continued by purchasing more guns or having more guns throughout the country. It doesn’t seem like that would solve the problem.

But I might be mistaken. We can try something new and get different results.

Murray was born in Dunblane. He was also a pupil at Dunblane’s elementary school. A gunman then killed 16 students and one teacher, before shooting himself. This was the most violent mass shooting in Britain’s recent history.

Murray stated that Murray heard the BBC mention a story about a young child who was from the school. A teacher came out of Dunblane and waved at all the children, telling them to hide.

“And there was another kid who told exactly the same story about how she got through it.

The children were saying they do these drills as small children. How is that possible? What is it that kids should have to undergo drills in order for someone with guns into schools?
