BERLIN (Reuters] – The spread of monkeypox is still not under control, according to Tuesday’s statement by the World Health Organization. It stated that the organization aimed to stop human-to-human transmission and to limit the extent of the epidemic.

“Tools to manage it – including readily available diagnostics, vaccines and therapeutics – are not likely to be immediately or widely accessible to countries,” it said in a statement.

Monkeypox has been reported in over 20 countries, including Europe. There have been more than 300 suspected or confirmed infections.
