Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ) said Tuesday that the Class A stock of Meta Platforms Inc will trade on NASDAQ starting June 9th 2022 under the new ticker symbol META’.

This new symbol will be replaced by the current “FB” and aligns with company’s recent rebranding, from Facebook to Meta. It was announced October 28th, 2021.

Year-to-date, shares in Meta Platforms fell 42%
