Mapmaker TomTom to cut 10% of jobs due to improved automation -Breaking

This comes as it increases its automation in mapmaking.
In a statement, it stated: “Regrettably this will have an impact on approximately 500 employees within our Maps unit.” The complete assessment of financial consequences of the Maps Unit reset is still ongoing.
