(Reuters) – Britain’s competition watchdog has begun investigating BT Group’s (LON) deal to merge its sports broadcasting company with Warner Bros Discovery. (NASDAQ:).
The Competition and Markets Authority stated that it would have until July 28th for its first phase 1 decision on whether the joint venture between America’s largest mobile and broadband provider and Britain will reduce competition.
