(Reuters) – Ford Motor (NYSE:) Co will make investments $2 billion and create 3,200 new jobs in Michigan because it boosts electrical automobile manufacturing, the automaker mentioned Thursday.

Gabby Bruno, a Ford official, advised a Michigan Strategic Fund state assembly that the three,200 new jobs included 2,000 on the Dearborn, Flat Rock and Wayne meeting crops.

The funding will assist elevated manufacturing of Ford’s F-150 EV lighting and meeting of a brand new Ranger pickup truck and a brand new Mustang. Ford additionally plans to construct a brand new elements packaging facility in Monroe County.
