Mexican Food Chain Chipotle will Accept Crypto Payments in the U.S. Restaurants

Are you craving a burrito, or tortilla? Well, it’s about to become much easier for crypto enthusiasts to fill their bellies with delicious Tex-Mex food, as Chipotle (NYSE:) has collaborated with digital payment platform Flexa to bring almost a hundred cryptocurrencies payment options to the table.

What you can do to spice up your life using crypto

Customers who are hungry will need to first choose a restaurant to dine at, then they can download the Gemini and SPEDN apps to save crypto. Flexa allows you to store upto 98 different cryptocurrency – including but not limited:

  • (BTC)
  • (ETH)
  • (DOGE)
  • (SOL)
  • (SHIB)

Chipotle offers a 10% discount on all customers who purchase meals at Chipotle by using Flexa compatible payment apps. The offer will allow diners to use crypto payment at almost 3,000 American restaurants.

Burrito?

Chipotle’s National Burrito Day was celebrated a few months back, the first Thursday in April. In order to win a burrito (or a Bitcoin) or some other prize, customers of Chipotle restaurant in America were offered the chance to participate in a mini-game. This offer is open to all, no matter how enthusiastic they are about crypto.

Starbucks was the first company to join Flexa’s payment network, thus enabling cryptocurrency payments at stores across the country.
