Russia sanctions U.S. treasury and energy secretaries, defence and media bosses -Breaking

(Reuters) – Russia placed personal sanctions against 61 U.S. officers, including Janet Yellen, U.S. Treasury Secretary and Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm as well as leading defense and media officials.

According to the ministry, personal sanctions were imposed in response to “constantly increasing U.S. Sanctions against Russian Political and Public Figures as well as Representatives of Domestic Business”.
