GENEVA (Reuters), A World Trade Organization spokesperson stated Tuesday that they were “growing cautiously optimistic” about the possibility of obtaining results at a Ministers meeting next week in Geneva to discuss a variety of agreements, including one on vaccines.

Daniel Pruzin of WTO stated that the “main message” from the meeting was a “growing cautious optimism about obtaining results at MC12,” referring to the 12th Ministerial conference that will take place between June 12-15.

WTO’s General Council, which is the main WTO body, met Thursday in closed-doors to conduct a “stocktaking” session prior to the conference.
