With the metaverse becoming an increasingly popular concept across domains and businesses, India’s MG Motors becomes the first auto Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to introduce their version of the metaverse platform with “MGverse”.

MGverse will provide an immersive experience to customers and stakeholders through five virtual services— ‘Explore and Create’ center; An NFT Gallery (Virtual Museum); A virtual MG Car Club; A gaming arena (P2E games); MG Knowledge Centre (for employees)

The newly launched MGverse is initially only available on mobile devices and desktop browsers. However, the company plans to incorporate the experience in virtual reality gadgets very soon.

Speaking at the press conference of MGverse’s launch, MG Motor India’s Marketing Head, Udit Malhotra stated:

The class can be customized as much or little as you like. You can get an assisted buying experience if you buy a car.

In other news, the entire state of Singapore has been modeled in 3D by a local tech startup, Vizzio Technologies, which now aims to bring the world’s largest digital twin into the metaverse.

This project aims to assist professionals in marketing their products through this digital economy. It also includes gaming platforms and virtual tourists. With the help of artificial intelligence and thousands upon thousands satellite photos, it was possible to rebuild entire cities block by block with incredible precision.

Meanwhile, UAE-based metaverse-driven entertainment platform The World’s Online Festival (WOLF) issued a press release wherein they predicted a 15% increase in revenue from metaverse-related projects by the end of 2022. They also highlighted the potential for the UAE to become a vibrant international hub of business in the Web3 realm.

WOLF’s large user base within the GCC has enabled it to create an inter-active community with more than 2,000,000 users, including musicians, comedians and singers. Their flagship patent-pending feature, Showreel, has experienced 77 million ‘WOLF Stream’ views of 3D cinematic short clips, since its launch in 2021.
