Apple (NASDAQ: ) intends to grow the number laptops it makes using in-house processors next year. Bloomberg also reports that Apple is working on a bigger Macbook Air.

Bloomberg reported that the Macbook Air would have a screen of 15 inches and will be available as soon as next spring. Bloomberg cited people who are familiar with the subject. It would be the largest Macbook Air model with this size screen, if the reports are correct.

Mark Gurman from Bloomberg wrote that Apple was also working on its smallest ever laptop, the 12-inch MacBook. This laptop is being considered for release at either the end 2023 or beginning 2024. The 12-inch MacBook was the previous Apple model.

Apple has been working with partners to develop its chip and is now moving away from those made by other companies. Apple has announced that it will be making a larger version of the 13.6 inch MacBook Air using its M2 chip.

Gurman said that Apple had considered making a 15-inch Macbook Air this year, but it was delayed and now focuses on the 13.6 inch model.
