WASHINGTON (Reuters] – Spirit AeroSystems, an aircraft parts manufacturer (NYSE:), announced on Wednesday that COVID-19 vaccines will be required for 10,500 of its employees by December 8. This is in compliance with an Executive Order for Contractors signed last month by President Joe Biden.

The deadline was Dec. 8, according to the White House, for federal contractor employees. These requirements could apply to many millions of people. The company stated that testing was not possible for Spirit employees because they are federal contractors.
