(Reuters) – The U.S. jobs market will still feel the impacts of COVID-19 but it’s too early to call it “stalling,” San Francisco Federal Reserve President Mary Daly stated on Sunday.

When Daly was asked about September’s disappointing second month, Daly stated that “it’s going to be these ups or downs especially with the Delta version.”

“So, I believe it’s premature to assume it’s stalling. But we are certainly seeing the impact of COVID on the labor market and of the Delta variant.”
