JPMorgan (NYSE) – Investing.com reported Wednesday the results of their third quarter. They beat analyst forecasts, and had revenue that was below expectations.

JPMorgan posted earnings per share (EPS) of $3.74 for revenue of $29.65B. Investing.com polled analysts to predict EPS of $3, based on $29.86B in revenue.

JPMorgan shares rose 30% over the first of the year but are down 3.59% from October 7’s 52-week peak of $171.51. They are outperforming the S&P Global 100 which is up 13.65% from the start of the year.

JPMorgan’s earnings report comes after BlackRock reported an earnings beat on Wednesday. BlackRock reports EPS at $10.95 for revenue $5.05B. Forecasts are for EPS $9.6 for revenue $4.82B.

Jefferies Financial exceeded expectations by beating forecasts on September 30, with third-quarter EPS in excess of $1.5 on revenue $1.94B. This compares to the $0.9933 expected for revenue $1.74B.
