Honeywell mandates COVID-19 shots at all U.S. offices By Reuters

REUTERS/Dado Ruvic/File Photo(Reuters) – Honeywell International Inc (NASDAQ) announced Wednesday that it would require all employees in its U.S. locations and certain manufacturing sites to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as per an executive order by President Joe Biden. This is for federal contractors.
Others government contractors, including Boeing (NYSE;) Co, International Business Machines(NYSE:) Corp, Raytheon Technologies, (NYSE:) Corp, and Raytheon Technologies, (NYSE:) Corp, have mandated vaccinations. The White House set December 8th as the vaccine deadline for millions of federal contractor employees.
All Honeywell facilities in the U.S. as well as territories which support U.S. government work are subject to the vaccination mandate. It covers all U.S. office addresses,” said the conglomerate.
Honeywell explained that manufacturing plants not supporting government contracts were exempted from this mandate. There are 41,000 American employees.
Also, Lockheed Martin Corp (NYSE: ) has updated its COVID-19 guidance to state that it will “follow federal and state mandates including vaccinations”
Prior versions of this guidance didn’t address specific vaccination requirements.
